I am not one to complain much..We have already had DQ's and things watched over pretty well this year, but a CLEAR CUT "Everyone Knows" RULE was broken tonight after the First JR Feature. Top 5 to Tech...When you come across the scale, Dean points those who need to go to the grass area to go there after leaving the scales. The top 2 cars both passed the tech area, one driving back to his pit, the other going to the top of the hill towards his pit...They both returned, but passed through the tech area. Not saying that anything happened during this time by either team, but It could have! Rules are rules. If pointed to Tech, you go to the grass area and wait until Willy is done. One of the cars involved was DQ'd last year for this very thing. Why no DQ tonight? Dean was asked by myself, what is the rule if you pass tech and then come back, his answer was "As long as you come back, it is fine"......Wait what??? Rodney was asked by myself of the very situation and he said "If the driver passes tech, does not stop, they are disqualified!"
Who is running this show?? Who has full right to enforce the rules! All I want is for the track to be consistent! Someone needs to be at the scale and watching after each event..Because the guy watching now doesn't seem to!

I seen that to and wondered what was going on. Someone needs to be there to watch what is going on. The 21 rolled up the hill and came right back. The 15E went pretty far and returned about 3 or 4 minutes later. So SS, what is the rule? Sounds like the two head people can't get on the same page.

What makes it even worse is it was written on the line up board that ALL CARS MUST WEIGH AND THE TOP 5 MUST GO TO TECH AFTER A-MAIN. It's not like you didn't know.

I get that they are kids. My kid is one of the oldest out there and he listens to what I tell him. I stress to him each week after the race if he is pointed to go over there to the tech area, he better STOP! That is the last thing I tell him right before he goes out every week. Just disgusted that everyone can not get on the same page and ENFORCE the rules, and get on the same page and KNOW the rules. I liked Rodney's answer...Dean's....What can I say...

I think this is something that should be brought up at the drivers meeting. I think they need to clarify in front of EVERYONE what the rule is concerning passing tech... This needs to be clarified so everyone knows for all the classes.

Go ahead and clarify what is to be done, but it is getting old that we have to "CLARIFY" rules that are posted on the internet and on the dry erase board for everyone to see, then they are broke and all we do is RE-CLARIFY! Nothing is done to the offender. Rules are rules! If we lose our structure and don't follow what is written in ink, then where will we be??
I for one love the place! Love racing there! Have a blast each Saturday we are there. It is turning into a circus with some things. I know everyone there tries their hardest and generally makes the correct calls, but come on!

it is already broke with the special treatment that goes on. We know of al the rule breakers and nothing has happened. Hell one dude went crazy on the grid several weeks ago, saying he was going to beat the hell out of another and he didn't get suspended. So I guess it is "boys have at it". Lets cheat and fight and do what erver we want.

I agree with the fact that the rules need to be fixed. Not just the JR Sprints, but the general racing rules in general. Simple rules create too many grey areas, therefore they need to be refined. I also understand that what is in black and white needs to be enforced. So with all that is being said, does this mean that you all will turn in some rule proposals to the powers that be AND attend meetings to elect board members that will properly represent YOU as the general populous of the club?? I know for one that I will be there, because I am tired seeing the rules bent and turned however the board wants to turn them.

I agree non-winging it. Some of us don't want to jack with the politics tho. Just want to race. I would assume that any reasonable person could follow the rules. These guys who do want to be ivolved in the politics are appreciated because I don't want to jack with it...it is not the only thing I have to do. 1 or 2 bad seeds in power can ruin it for the entire board. Let the officials make calls. Dean just over rules decisions as he pleases. WHY?
